In order to implement the spirit of "Guiding Opinions of the State Council on Resolving Serious Overcapacity Conflicts" (Guo Fa [2013] No. 41) and use price leverage to eliminate outdated electrolytic aluminum production capacity, the National Development and Reform Commission issued the "Implementation of Tiered Electricity Prices for Electrolytic Aluminum Enterprises" Policy Notice" (Fagai Price [2013] No. 2530), which clarifies that the electricity consumption of electrolytic aluminum production enterprises shall implement the corresponding ladder electricity price standard according to the electricity consumption level of the previous year.
According to the relevant requirements of national policies, our department commissioned State Grid (Qinghai) Comprehensive Energy Service Co., Ltd. to conduct on-site verification and screening of the 2021 annual AC power consumption levels of aluminum liquid electrolysis for 7 electrolytic aluminum production enterprises in the province. The basis for the implementation of electricity price standards.
In accordance with the principles of fairness, impartiality, and openness, the 2021 annual production power consumption verification results of electrolytic aluminum enterprises in our province will be announced in different files, and we will accept the supervision of enterprises and society.
