On November 15, Suotong Development announced that the company's holding subsidiary innovative carbon materials plans to invest about 1.731 billion yuan to build an annual output of 340,000 tons of prebaked anodes and 300,000 tons of calcined anodes in the existing factory area of ??Binzhou Beihai Economic Development Zone. focus items.
A relevant person from Suotong Development told the reporter of Securities Daily that the original prebaked anode production capacity of innovative carbon materials was 600,000 tons. After this new project reaches production capacity, the prebaked anode production capacity of the base will reach 940,000 tons. At the same time, as an effective way to realize the company's "14th Five-Year Plan" production capacity plan for prebaked anodes, this project will also help the company to accelerate the implementation of "C Strategy".
Build the world's largest monomer prebaked anode base
Suotong Development is the only listed company in the domestic prebaked anode field. At present, the company has five production bases in Dezhou, Shandong, Binzhou, Shandong, Jiayuguan, Gansu, Qijiang, Chongqing, and Qujing, Yunnan, with a total production capacity of 2.52 million tons.
The construction site of this investment project is located in the existing factory area of ??its Shandong Binzhou base. It mainly constructs the anode production system and supporting necessary auxiliary facilities. The construction period is expected to be one year, and the source of funds is self-owned and self-raised funds. After the completion of the new project, Innovative Carbon Materials will have a production capacity of 940,000 tons/year of prebaked anodes and 300,000 tons/year of calcined coke, becoming the largest prebaked anode production base in the world, which will help further leverage its scale advantages and improve Product competitiveness.
