On November 16, the China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association held the first "Aluminum Roundtable Summit". The six-point initiative proposed by the meeting is to accelerate the green and intelligent development of the aluminum industry.

Promote the centralized consumption of clean energy in the electrolytic aluminum industry, allocate projects in areas with carrying capacity and a high proportion of clean energy, and strive to increase the proportion of "green aluminum" to more than 30% during the "15th Five-Year Plan" period. The second is to speed up the upgrading and transformation of production lines, and adhere to the direction of green and intelligent development. Vigorously promote the application of energy-saving and carbon-reducing technologies such as high-quality anodes and graphitized cathodes, and focus on promoting the integration of 5G and other information technologies with the aluminum industry. The third is to improve the comprehensive utilization of industrial waste.
