Since the beginning of this year, Dongxing Aluminum Longxi Branch has strengthened quality control and made new progress in improving the quality of primary aluminum products by taking multiple measures.
Focusing on improving the technical indicators of electrolytic cells, the company has effectively reduced the average iron content of electrolytic cells and improved the quality of primary aluminum through measures such as controlling electrolyte levels, strictly controlling the quality of pole changing operations, and classifying and managing the content of primary aluminum and iron. Up to now, the rate of primary aluminum above Al99.80 has reached 36.2%, which is significantly higher than that in the second quarter; the average iron content has further decreased, reaching the best level in history.
In order to enhance the conductivity of anode casting and ensure the fluidity of molten iron and the shrinkage strength after cooling, the company optimizes the ratio of phosphorus pig iron and adopts the "secondary circulation casting method" to thoroughly clean the residual iron slag on the anode surface and increase the detection of casting pressure drop. The strength has forced the casting quality to improve, and the casting pressure drop has been reduced by 4mV compared with last year; the steel claw inspection station is set up to clean the surface oxides of the steel claw one by one, and reduce the inflow of iron impurities into the covering material from the source; benchmarking the quality of raw materials in the industry, strict Control the content and appearance quality of impurities such as iron and silicon, establish a tracking and feedback mechanism for the use effect, and ensure the stable quality of raw materials.
In the next step, Longxi Branch will carry out anti-corrosion and anti-rust spraying tests on steel claws, add first-level iron removal equipment, improve the cleanliness of covering materials, and further improve product quality. Source:
